Equipment Wanted Via Donations
January 2011: With all our on going projects here at Home-Brew Power!
We are now hoping that some of our readers may be able to help us with used equipment so we can create more interesting Renewable Energy Project's.
We are based in the United Kingdom and the credit crunch is hitting us hard. The main problem we are experiencing is that the items you could find in junk yards or at the side of the road are now being either sold via ebay or picked up by others for reuse.
The items we are in most need of are the following:
- Used copper hot water cylinders, direct and insulated.
- Central heating Pumps, used, any make or model
- Immersion heating elements new or used.
- Lengths of mild steel, tube & box section.
- Waste Vegetable Oil (In or around Lincolnshire.)
- Brass isolating ball valves 15mm or 22mm.
- Lengths of copper tube 6mm, 8mm & 10mm Microbore. Standard lengths of 15mm & 22mm copper tube.
- Stainless steel tanks 15L minimum for holding & processing vegetable oils.
- Stainless steel sheet, tubes & bars.
- Mild steel welding rods, any thickness are fine.
If you have any of these items in any quantities and are in the UK we would be very grateful if you would consider donating them to us.
We will collect if you are in Lincolnshire or possibly pay postage if you are within the UK.
