The Victorian Kitchen Garden
The creator of the Victorian Kitchen Garden put together, in my opinion, the best ever televised gardening series in history. The series was produced for BBC2 in 1987 and spanned over 13 episodes.
The program took you through the refurbishment of a part derelict Victorian Wall Garden located at Chilton Folit (Located Formerly In Berkshire, Now In Wiltshire) and once the garden was rebuilt and planted out with Victorian fruit & vegetables the series takes you through an entire growing season month by month.
I can not recommend purchasing this DVD if you have any interest in traditional gardening methods. You are sure to learn many long forgotten techniques and traditional tips from the series.
